Currently, we have seven active members in the unit. All of our members live in Maryland and participate in campaigner type events as well as reenactments and living histories. The events we attend are mostly in the MD, VA, and PA area, but our members have traveled as far as Ohio and North Carolina for events. We are always looking for new events to attend.
We pride ourselves on the research and effort that we put into to representing the 1st Maryland Cavalry. We have visit several historical societies, museums, as well as private collections to view original artifacts connected with the 1st MD. These efforts help us to accurately and authentically portray a Maryland trooper during the Civil War.
